Are you a Senior Design Engineer who enjoys taking complex media and Pro AV requirements and turning them into systems that work properly on the day?
Our client is a market leader in the media and Pro AV industry, delivering large scale audio, video and broadcast solutions across stadiums, arenas and corporate environments.
They are now looking for a Senior Design Engineer to take ownership of detailed design and technical delivery across a portfolio of high profile projects.
The Role
Working closely with a Solutions Architect, you’ll take high level concepts and turn them into detailed, buildable designs.
You’ll be involved from the early presales stage right through to commissioning, client sign off and project completion. It’s a hands on role with plenty of autonomy, where your technical knowledge and judgement will have a real influence on both the design and the end client experience.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be responsible for producing the full low level design package for each project, including:
Bills of materials
Schematics and wiring diagrams
Functionality statements
Detailed system designs
Client user journeys and workflows
You’ll work closely with the internal CAD team to make sure the drawings accurately reflect the agreed design and the client’s requirements.
Once the design is signed off, you’ll stay involved through commissioning, testing and performance verification on site. You’ll also oversee third party vendors and technical service providers, making sure the work is delivered to the required technical and quality standards.
What We’re Looking For
You’ll ideally have experience as a senior design engineer within a client facing technology environment, with a strong background in Pro AV engineering, installation and system design.
Experience should include:
LED walls and large format display systems
Broadcast systems and workflows
Audio and video systems
Enterprise technology
Large scale AV solutions
Stadium, arena or corporate projects
You’ll also hold CCNA, CTS-I and CTS-D, ideally alongside relevant manufacturer or vendor accreditations.
Just as importantly, you’ll be comfortable working directly with clients and able to explain complex technical solutions in a clear and practical way.

Good commercial awareness and an understanding of project cost accounting
