HR Advisor
Are you a people-focused HR professional looking to shape and grow a People function from the ground up?
Our client is an expanding business specialising in major live events for over 10 years, including Formula 1, delivering technology and AV solutions in some of the most exciting environments in the world. From F1 paddocks and hospitality suites to concerts, theatres and festivals, their work helps bring live experiences to life. They are a growing team who work closely together in a collaborative and supportive environment, also supporting a wide range of venues and events across the UK including concert halls, conferences, theatre and dance productions.
We are looking for a People Manager to help support and develop the growing team. You will work closely with leadership, managers and the wider team to make sure people processes run smoothly, from recruitment and onboarding to employee relations and day to day support. As the business continues to grow, this role will play an important part in strengthening people processes, supporting managers and helping teams do their best work.
Full-time (40 hours per week) or part-time (24-30 hours per week, over 3-5 days) will be considered.
What You Will Be Doing
- Supporting the day to day running of the People function across the company
- Working closely with the people team and leadership on recruitment, onboarding and employee support
- Helping maintain employee records, documentation and HR systems
- Supporting employee relations, absence management and performance processes
- Advising managers on HR policies, best practice and people matters as they arise
- Improving people processes and helping introduce better ways of working
- Supporting employee engagement initiatives and internal communication
- Helping ensure the business remains compliant with UK employment law and HR best practice
Who We Are Looking For
- CIPD Level 5 qualified (or equivalent experience)
- Experience working in an HR or People role in a fast paced environment
- Strong understanding of recruitment, onboarding and employee relations
- Good knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
- Confident in advising managers on people matters
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable handling sensitive and confidential information professionally
Desirable: previous experience in a standalone or broad generalist HR role; experience supporting process improvement, policy development or wider people initiatives; experience working in an events-led or fast-paced operational environment.
