The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Professional Division for a Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team. Reporting directly to the UK Director of Sales, the successful applicant will help manage and develop our key reseller network, generate new business, and take full ownership of their project pipeline.
This role includes regular regional and national travel. Our sales team members are expected to attend international and domestic trade shows, which will include overnight stays. This position is ideally suited to an outgoing, self-motivated individual who enjoys meeting new people and developing long-term, sustainable working relationships.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities

Account Growth: Grow sales within existing and new key accounts by implementing long-term business strategies through agreed channels to achieve sales and profit targets.

Partner Support: Provide exceptional support to dealers, customers, and distributors through relationship management, sales promotions, marketing initiatives, and training.

Market Expansion: Broaden business opportunities by investigating and developing new routes to market.

Brand Ambassador: Act as a key representative at industry events, trade shows, exhibitions, and client meetings.

Performance Tracking: Monitor individual key account performance against targets and present analysis of results at sales meetings with senior management.

Industry Expertise: Maintain a high level of product and industry knowledge to ensure first-class customer service.
Skills and Attributes required

Collaboration: Partner with our marketing team to create campaigns, promotions, and sales training programs that drive results.Skills & Attributes Required

Proven Sales Record: A strong history of sales experience and managing individual accounts, specifically selling to resellers, system integrators, and end customers.

Commercial Acumen: A track record of achieving budgets, demonstrating sharp business acumen, and possessing strong financial skills.

Communication: Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills.

Relationship Builder: Ability to win the trust and respect of both internal teams and external customers, with a natural knack for developing accounts.

Technical & Logistics: Good standard of IT literacy and a full UK driving licence.
Required experience and skills

Minimum of 3 years of sales experience within the UK AV industry.

Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent)
